Sailcourse 2 - Intermediate

If you've got some experience and would like to improve your sailing skills, our Intermediate sailing course is the way to go.

Through this course you'll become better acquainted with what it takes to skipper a medium size boat. And not the least; you'll get more practical traning and experience.

During this course we'll go through the following:

• preparing for departure
• planning the trip - in the chart
• look at some technical aspects of the boat
• more practice in sailing, reefing and trimming sails
• manouvering and "parking" in different ways in harbour
• anchoring, mooring and safety precautions

For this course we use a Dufour 28' or similar, located at Kongen Marina in Oslo.

Pre-skill requirements

Having been through our sailcourse for beginners, or having some previous sailing experience.

Duration and Locaion

2 days of 6 hours (12 hours total) on board a sailboat from "Kongen Marina" in Frognerkilen.

Custom, private courses can be arranged, with or without sleeping on board, and in a larger boat if needed. For custom courses, other prices may apply.
